International Year of Light

In Collaboration with IEEE Tunis branch and INSAT, Youth for Science Foundation is sponsoring the production by 65 INSAT Students, of  around 40 small projects which have one thing in common : Light in all its forms.

The world is indeed celebrating this year, 1000 years of work research and achievements in light related research, since the first ever document on the nature of light and optics, written by IBN AL HAYTHEM in 1015.  The UNESCO declared in December 2013, the year 2015 as the Intenatinal year of Light.

This Wednesday 25 November, INSAT, IEEE & YFSF are celebrating such an event, with a rich program composed of the exhibition of the 40 projects, and several lcctures and talks about Light.
